Bending Square Material
Square tubing, solid and flat stock. Huth has or can create the tooling to bend these materials.
Our square tubing dies are designed to bend minimum thickness of 16 or 14 gauge wall depending on the tubing size. The radius die directs the back wall toward the front of the tubing to control these thinner walls. This type of bend actually makes the tubing stronger in the bend than the original dimension of the tube. For heavier wall tubing a die can be made with less control of the back wall leaving the tube closer to the original shape.
Solid or flat stock material can be bent on a universal solid stock die set.
