Dies Do It
How do you bend a square or rectangular piece of tubing? Using the right dies is the key to bending steel like a superhero. At Huth, we've designed and built specialized dies that allow our bending machines to easily and neatly bend square and rectangular tubing up to 3-inch diameters.
You can get many sizes right away—we carry stock tooling for ¾” through 3” square tube work, as well as some rectangular sizes. For rectangular tubing, our tooling can bend along the longer dimension or the "easy way" as well as oppositely, a.k.a. "the hard way."
We also carry dies for flat stock. So if you need the dies to make a square pipe bend, we've got you covered. If we don't have the size you need as a stock item, be sure to inquire about our customization options. We can create custom dies for nearly any application and all thicknesses!
